American Jews are up in arms now, because Donald Trump is using them as a political prop. A couple of days ago, he outraged many Jewish people by saying that those who don’t vote for him show “either a total lack of knowledge or great disloyalty.” Then, after pissing them off with that comment, Trump Tweeted that Israeli Jews see him as the “second coming of God.”
I know I don’t have to write much about this, because it kind of speaks for itself. I mean, Trump is not in his right mind. He’s either unbelievably narcissistic to the point of delusion or he’s got some form of dementia. Maybe he’s both. In any case, one of my Jewish friends posted this.
Every day, I think it can’t get worse… then Trump says something more offensive or outrageous to prove me wrong. One of my German friends said that many people here fear that Trump will be re-elected. I have to admit, that’s my fear too. However, I did promise that when the time comes, I will be voting straight blue. Fuck the Republican party for foisting this Trump on the world. He’s a disaster.
Add in the fact that he’s now insulted Danish people, once again referring to a strong, capable woman as “nasty” for standing up to him and demanding respect. Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen told him to “show some respect” after Trump abruptly canceled a trip to Denmark after he was told, in no uncertain terms, that Greenland is NOT for sale. She told him the idea was “absurd” and he responded by calling her “nasty”, just as he’s referred to other prominent women who have taken him to task. I notice that whenever a woman calls Trump on the carpet for being the disgusting asshole that he is, he calls them “nasty”. But that doesn’t stop him from grabbing them by the pussy, raping them, or hanging out with creeps like Jeffrey Epstein.
I just don’t understand why we have this man leading the country. We’ve got to do better. At the very least, when he’s no longer in office, I can stop thinking and writing about him. Even if people want a “conservative” running the White House, we’ve got to find someone more capable and less moronic than Trump is. He’s a bloody disgrace.
Could not agree more. He is absolute scum. I spend way too much time thinking about how stupid, greedy and completely bereft of any moral compass he is. I know I’d probably be better off if I could just stop watching & reading the news, but I am the type of person who really needs to stay informed. Watching his horror show unfold since Jan 2017 has really made me lose a lot of my faith in humanity, because there are so many dummies who STILL support him. What is wrong with them?
Unfortunately, I think a lot of them are either racist or have bought into the idea that he will make them wealthier somehow. I have family members who love him. One even promised I’d be cheering about him by now. It hasn’t happened. I find him profoundly upsetting and scary.
